Fees

The following are the regular registration fees for the 2020 Little League season:

  • T-Ball: Born between September 1, 2014 and August 31, 2016 = $175.00
    • T-Ball plays 2 times per week and have the option of playing either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday
  • Rookie Ball (formerly, Coach Pitch): Born between September 1, 2011 and August 31, 2014 = $250.00
    • Rookie Ball plays 3 times per week and have the option of playing either Monday/Wednesday/Saturday or Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday
  • Minors: Born between September 1, 2009 and August 31, 2011 = $325.00
    • Minors will have 2-3 games per week plus 1-2 practices.  Games/practices can be any day of the week including weekends
  • Majors: Born between September 1, 2007 and August 31, 2009= $350.00
    • Majors will have 2-3 games per week plus 1-2 practices.  Games/practices can be any day of the week including weekends
  • Intermediate/Seniors: Born between September 1, 2003 and August 31, 2007 = $350.00
    • Intermediate/Seniors will have 2-3 games per week plus 1-2 practices.  Games/practices can be any day of the week including weekends. Note: the teams will be determined based on registration numbers across District 8.

Late Fee
Minors to Intermediate Registrations received after March 1, 2020 will be subject to a $50 late fee.

KidSport 
Please note that KidSport provides grants for families that may require financial assistance to register their child(ren) in sports such as CalSouth Little League. Please visit their web site at www.KidSport.ca/Calgary if you need any further details.

Jersey Deposit
Players in Coach Pitch through Senior divisions will be required to submit a $100 fully-refundable jersey deposit via a Pre-Authorized Debit PAD Agreement prior to receiving their team jersey. As long as the jersey is returned at the end of the season, the jersey deposit PAD will not be processed.

Volunteer Bond Deposit
All families must provide a $200 fully-refundable volunteer bond deposit via Pre-Authorized Debit PAD Agreement.  As long as each family completes their Volunteer Bond, the PAD will not be processed.

Moving Players up to a Higher Division

  • T-Ball to Rookie Ball  Register your player in T-Ball and in the comments section, make a note that you would like your player to play in Rookie, noting the number of previous years of experience. If the request is approved, CalSouth Little League will contact you for payment of the fee difference.
  • Rookie Ball to Minors Register your player in Rookie Ball and in the comments section, make a note that you would like your player to try out for Minors.  Your player will be required to attend the Minors Evaluations times. If the request is approved, CalSouth Little League will contact you for payment of the fee difference.
  • Minors to Majors Register your player in Minors and in the comments section, make a note that you would like your player to try out for Majors. Your player will be required to attend both the Minors and Majors Evaluations times. If the request is approved, CalSouth Little League will contact you.
  • Majors to Intermediate/Senior Move Ups are not allowed

NOTE:  Please do NOT change your player's birthdate in order for them to play in a higher division. CalSouth Little League reserves the right to check player's birth certificates.  If discrepancies are found, this could deem your player ineligible to play with Little League. Decisions regarding move ups will happen towards the end of April before the season is scheduled to start.  

CalSouth Little League Withdrawal Policy

Any player withdrawal prior to March 17, 2020 will be refunded their registration fees less a $25 administration fee
No refund will be given after March 24, 2020, with the exception of producing a doctor’s note explaining injury or health concerns. In the event of withdrawal with a doctor’s note, the registrant will be refunded their registration fees less a $25 administration fee
After the first scheduled game, no refund will be given regardless of injury or doctor’s note.
