Good morning CalSouth Families, The Board of Directors at CalSouth is thinking of all of our members, their families, friends and loved ones during these difficult times.

We would like to thank all of you for your continued patience as we await further direction from Little League Canada, Little League Alberta (District 8), Alberta Health Services and the Alberta Government regarding our season status for 2020. In Alignment with Little League Alberta, all baseball activities have been suspended until May 11, 2020. We will continue to share information as it is provided to us so please check your inboxes, our social media pages and talk with friends. Please Note, the 2020 Regular baseball season is not cancelled.

We are working on plans to provide the best season possible once we get the go ahead from Little League to have those cooped up kids hit the fields safely for some baseball fun. We are planning just as we would for any other season so if you are looking to coach we still need you to fill out your applications. We have also put together a survey for each family to please fill out and submit as we look for ideas to possibly extend our season to get the effective two weeks back that we will be losing should we get the go ahead for May 11th, 2020.

We appreciate that the COVID-19 crisis may cause added financial pressure for many families, therefore refunds can be made available upon request to registrar@calsouth.ca less the $25 administration fee used for evaluation costs, website fees, diamond fees which have all been paid for ahead of the season. Please include players first and last name in your request. Refunds will be issued back to the credit card used for payment.

For those that do not require immediate refunds, CalSouth will retain 2020 fees until a decision has been made regarding regular season.

Spring Development Camp is officially cancelled and we are responsible for the payment of the facility for the one session that we used it. Therefore every player who was registered for the Camp will be receiving a refund of fees less the one session charged by the Dawgs: These refunds should happen over the next couple of days. The breakdown is as follows:

Based on 8 sessions:

6-8 year olds  $150 less $18.75 = $131.25 refunded

9-12 year olds $165 less $20.63 = $144.37 refunded

13-16 year olds $175 less $21.88 = $153.12 refunded
